Copyright and DMCA Policy

Version 2026-08-24

How to tell us that a page infringes your copyright, how the page owner can dispute that, and what happens to repeat infringers.

This agreement is written in English. Translations are provided for convenience only; if they conflict, the English version governs.

01Our position

We respect copyright and expect our customers to do the same. We respond to properly submitted notices of claimed infringement under the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act and equivalent provisions elsewhere.

We do not create the images our customers publish, and we do not review them before publication. Once we receive a valid notice, we act.

02Sending a takedown notice

Email copyright@onpage.site with the subject line DMCA Notice. To be effective under 17 U.S.C. 512(c)(3), your notice must include all of the following:

Your physical or electronic signature, as the owner or a person authorised to act for the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list if the notice covers several works.

Identification of the material you say is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it - the full page address and which image on it.

Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.

A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or are authorised to act on the owner's behalf.

Incomplete notices delay removal. We normally act on a valid notice within 2 business days.

03A warning about false claims

Under 17 U.S.C. 512(f), a person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages, including costs and legal fees. Do not use this process to remove a competitor's page.

04What happens to the page owner

We disable access to the material identified, notify the page owner at the address on file, and forward them a copy of your notice, including the contact details you provided. Filing a notice means accepting that those details are shared with the person you are complaining about.

05Counter-notice

If you are the page owner and believe the material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to copyright@onpage.site containing:

Your physical or electronic signature.

Identification of the material removed and the address at which it appeared before removal.

A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.

Your name, postal address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the district in which your address is located, or, if outside the United States, of any judicial district in which we may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the complainant.

We forward a valid counter-notice to the complainant. If they do not tell us within 10 business days that they have filed an action seeking a court order, we may restore the material.

06Repeat infringers

We keep a record of notices received. An account that is the subject of repeated valid notices is terminated, its pages removed and its addresses reclaimed, in line with our policy of terminating repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

Two valid, unrebutted notices produce a formal warning. A third results in termination.

07Trademarks and other rights

For trademark complaints, impersonation, defamation or privacy claims, write to abuse@onpage.site describing the right you hold, the page concerned, and the harm. The Acceptable Use Policy governs how we handle these.
